Where it all began.
The employees of Owens Illinois, a local glass factory, formed Bridgeton Onized Federal Credit Union to provide financial services to workers and their families. Since then, we’ve expanded to include more than 7,500 members and 100 member groups across Cumberland County and beyond. We offer Credit Union membership to a wide variety of employer groups, associations, community support organizations, and individuals connected to current members.
As a Federal Credit Union, we offer lower loan rates, financial education, and a trusted space where you can safely bank. We get to know our members’ dreams and goals and work with them to help them get there. We’d love to help you, too. Let’s get started, together.
How We Work Together
Federal Credit Unions are governed by our membership. As members, we all work together to help the organization run smoothly and efficiently. In addition to our elected Board of Directors, we encourage our members to commit to other volunteer opportunities or Supervisory Committee roles which help to oversee management in their duties.
Our Central Purpose
Our central purpose is the well-being of our members and we exist to enhance their lives by providing quality services to help them achieve success.
Guiding Principles
Our guiding principles are treating members like family, holding ourselves to the highest standard, placing importance on education, and creating opportunities for growth.
We are involved with the Greater Vineland Chamber of Commerce, the Bridgeton Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Greater Millville Chamber of Commerce.
