Courtesy Pay and Overdrafts
What You Need to Know about Overdrafts and Courtesy Pay:
An overdraft occurs when you do not have enough money in your account to cover a transaction that would otherwise be returned unpaid. Bridgeton Onized FCU can help you get your items paid in 1 of 2 ways:
Overdraft Protection: Your share accounts are linked together so if you have available funds in another account, they can be pulled to cover the deficit.
Courtesy Pay: The credit union will extend advanced funds to cover the deficit. You will be responsible for repaying this advance.
Both programs are only extended to owners in good standing. Violation of account agreement(s) can result in revocation of access, as determined by Owner Solutions. Should you have any question as to whether you are eligible, please contact the collections department directly at 856-692-4000 ext 796.
You are given the option to enroll at account opening. If at any point you would like to change your enrollment status, you will need to visit a BOFCU office to submit the request.
